PARENT COMPLAINTS
Child Care

Parent or Guardian Complaints

Child care providers can call our referral line at 1-800-481-2151 to speak to our staff regarding complaints of suspected child abuse against a parent/guardian or family member.

Individuals are advised to call the Child Abuse Hotline at 858-560-2191 to file a report. Our staff will:

  • Document the call
  • Notify the Resource and Referral Department Head
  • Follow up with the Child Abuse Hotline within two business days to verify a complaint was made
If a complaint has not been made to the Child Abuse Hotline, our staff will follow up with the Child Abuse Hotline as needed.
