Help Paying for Child Care

Our child care consultants can also give you easy tips you can use to help with the cost of child care. Call our referral line today at 1-800-481-2151. Here are other YMCA CRS programs to help pay for child care.

Alternative Payment Program: If your gross monthly income is within the State Median Income Level, you may be eligible to participate in the Alternative Payment Program. The first step is to fill out an online application to be placed on the Centralized Eligibility List.

Stage 1 Child Care: If you are a family that is currently receiving CalWORKs benefits and are participating in the Welfare-to-Work (WTW) program you might be eligible to receive Stage 1 benefits from us.

Health and Behavior

Our HEALTHLINE department provides health and behavioral health services to parents and child care providers of children birth to kindergarten enrollment or 6 years old.

Children and Teens with Special Needs

Our REGIONAL CENTER RESPITE program gives families short-term relief from the continual care of the child with developmental disabilities. Also, TEENS IN MOTION is an after school program that provides supervision and support to high school students with disabilities who have working parents.
