Health and safety assessments involve a visit to your facility by a health educator. Visits include an assessment using a revised version of the California Child Care Health Program Health and Safety Checklist.
This checklist assesses a variety of health and safety standards in your facility, including indoor and outdoor safety, communicable disease prevention, and emergency preparedness.
After the visit, participants receive detailed feedback and a customized resource packet.
This educational service is offered through the YMCA Childcare Resource Service and is not associated with licensing or licensing site visits.
