Resource and Referral
Child Development Permit
- A current child development permit is required of all CARES participants who have completed 6 units of Child Development college coursework.
- Applications are available online at www.childdevelopment.org.
- The Child Development Training Consortium will pay the application and
fingerprint processing fees (if applicable) for Assistant, Associate Teacher,
and Teacher level permits along with upgrades from one of the three lower level
permits to Master Teacher, Site Supervisor or Program Director (as funding is
available).
- Submit completed forms and supporting documentation to the San Diego County Office of Education, or mail them to the Child Development Training Consortium.
