Sesame Street Beginnings: Language to Literacy

For over 30 years, Sesame Street, the highly acclaimed, award winning show has educated and entertained children around the world. Through lovable, engaging characters such as Big Bird and Elmo, this workshop shows parents and child care providers the importance of enhancing language development in children from birth to age 3. Encouraging strong attachments and positive everyday interaction among parents, caregivers and young children through literacy development can lay a strong foundation for lifelong literacy and the love of books for all children.
