Our program provides families short-term relief from the continual care of their son or daughter with developmental disabilities.
Who is Eligible for Respite Services?
All referrals to the Respite Unit come directly from the San Diego Regional Center.

We offer In-Home respite care, Out-of-Home respite care and after school care for teens with disabilities.

In 1980, the YMCA CRS Respite Unit contracted with San Diego Regional Center for the Developmentally Disabled to provide respite services for families who have children with developmental disabilities and who are Regional Center consumers. We provide services throughout San Diego County.
