Children exhibiting challenging behaviors in the early years often lack the social and emotional skills they need to effectively deal with conflicts and strong emotions. These social and emotional skills are essential skills for school readiness and positive long term social and economic outcomes (Raver & Knitzer, 2002)

What can my gift do?
Provides additional resources for teens who have exceptional needs.
Provides communication and adaptive equipment for a classroom of 20 teens.
Provides a wheelchair accessible bus rental for the day.
Provides 7 transportation passes for community outings and field trips.
Provides 25 swim passes to encourage health and wellness for teens that need assistance with physical activity.

TEEN AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Teens in Motion
- We are an after school program that provides supervision and support to high school students with disabilities who have working parents.
- We are dedicated to providing a more inclusive, richer high school experience for students with disabilities.
- We are designed to enhance the academic and social development of students with disabilities.
- We also support parents and serve their respite needs.
Applicants should qualify for Regional Center child care or Regional Center out-of-home respite care. All other applicants pay the full cost for the program. Payment options include a daily or weekly rate.
